Get your site on CRLN

Show sponsors your team is ready for their study. Free for your site and your staff, always. No patient information is ever entered.

Set up your site (about 10 minutes, one person)

  1. Go to the site portal and click "Create your site (free)". Use your work email, then click the link in the email we send you.
  2. Name your site. Choose your country and type of site. We pick the right training for your type of site; you can change it later.
  3. Your staff link is ready. Copy it, or show the QR code at a staff meeting. Send it to your team with the message we give you.

That is it. You do not need a phone app to get started. The first time you open your staff's results, we ask you to add a second sign-in step. It takes about 5 minutes the first time and protects your staff's results.

Need a new staff link later? Open your site, go to the "Team" tab, click "Create a join link", then "Copy link".

Your first 15 minutes

Have your phone nearby.

  1. Create your site. Choose the training programs it suggests. This takes about two minutes.
  2. Copy your staff link and send it to your team. Staff sign up with their work email and ask to join.
  3. Open the "Team" tab. When someone asks to join, choose "Approve". They get an email with their training. If a person should help run the site, the site owner can make them an administrator on the same tab.
  4. Set up your phone step. On iPhone use the Passwords app. On Android install Google Authenticator. Tap "Begin setup", scan the square code, type the six numbers, then tap "Verify and turn on". Plan on about five minutes the first time. If you stop partway, start again and scan the new code.
  5. Come back to "Overview". The checklist shows what is left. Results, downloads and sharing with sponsors open once your phone step is done.

Click your site's link or scan the QR code, create a free account with your work email, and you are on your site's team.

Common questions

Does it cost anything?

No. Free for sites and staff, always.

Do we enter patient information?

Never. CRLN is only about staff training and readiness.

Who sees results?

Each person sees their own. Your site's administrators see your team. Anything shown outside your site covers groups of five or more people only.

What is the second sign-in step?

A 6-digit code from an app on your phone (on iPhone, the built-in Passwords app: tap Codes, then +; on Android, Google Authenticator). You set it up once.

I got a new phone and my codes stopped working.

Email us and we will reset it, usually the same business day. (Self-service reset is coming.)

Can a partner or network set up our site for us?

Yes. They set it up and you accept it by email; your site is then yours alone.

Can we leave?

Yes. You can delete your site at any time.
